Back in 2014 I received an enquiry to photograph a wedding in London. Unfortunately I was not available on the day, but stayed in touch with Kirsty and Manolis. Fast forward two years and we finally had the opportunity to meet in person and work together. Whilst they were in Greece (where Manolis is from) on their summer holiday, they stopped by Paros and decided to have some photos taken. As they seemingly brought the UK weather with them, we did not have the blue skies synonymous with Greece. However the clouds made for a different, and at times more dramatic backdrop.

We met at the monastery of Agios Ioannis, but after battling the wind for a little while, we had to cut our time here short. Driving back towards Naousa, we stopped at Kolibithres beach which is one of my favourite spots on the island. The nature and rock formations always draw me in, and the sea here is the bluest blue – you may as well be in the Caribbean somewhere. From here we went to Ambela and Naousa to wrap up our shoot, after which we went to enjoy a few drinks together. Such a lovely couple of hours spent getting to know these lovely people!
